Temporary IT Infrastructure for Data Centers – Cisco Switch Rental

A temporary IT infrastructure for data centers is the ideal solution to manage migrations, upgrades, or refurbishments without disrupting operations. In a recent project, we successfully implemented exactly this approach.

As part of a major data center refurbishment, we designed, delivered, and operated a temporary IT infrastructure for the data center. Our goal was to provide a stable and high-performance interim solution that ensured maximum availability at all times.

We deployed approximately 30 Cisco switches (SG350, SG500, and CBS series) and integrated them into the access layer. This setup ensured reliable connectivity for servers, applications, and end devices. In addition, we implemented Cisco Catalyst switches from the CAT95xx series within the core and distribution layers. These systems handled essential Layer 3 functions, including routing, VLAN management, and network segmentation.

Throughout the six-month project duration, we continuously monitored and optimized the temporary IT infrastructure in the data center. As a result, we ensured uninterrupted business operations during the entire transformation process.

After completing the project, we decommissioned all systems in a structured manner, tested them, and prepared them for future deployments. This approach ensures that our clients benefit from rapidly available and fully validated Cisco rental solutions.

A temporary IT infrastructure for data centers offers maximum flexibility and scalability. It is especially suitable for companies that require short-term, high-performance network resources without compromising reliability.
